You must be at least 18 years old to use Rentbae. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
2. Platform Purpose
Rentbae is a digital platform that connects:
- Tenants looking for rooms, apartments, or houses to rent
- Property owners and room providers listing their spaces
- Roommates searching for shared living arrangements
We do not own, manage, or operate any properties listed.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree not to impersonate others or provide false property or roommate listings.
4. Listings and Content
- You may create property or roommate listings using truthful, non-deceptive content.
- You retain ownership of the content you post but grant Rentbae a license to display and promote it.
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines or is deemed inappropriate, misleading, or fraudulent.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Post discriminatory, hateful, or offensive content
- Upload viruses or malicious software
- Contact other users for spam, solicitation, or harassment
6. Payments (if applicable)
If Rentbae introduces paid features for premium listings or account upgrades:
- All payments will be processed securely
- Refunds may be subject to our Refund Policy
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes
7. Disclaimers
- Rentbae is not a real estate broker or agent. We provide a platform for users to interact.
- We do not screen users, verify identities, or inspect properties. Use your own judgment before making agreements.
- We are not responsible for any disputes, damages, or losses resulting from interactions or transactions between users.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentbae and its team shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of data, income, or goodwill
- Disputes or legal issues between users
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms or act in a harmful or abusive manner.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Ontario.
